Dr Subodh K Juikar is Joint Director, Associate Professor and Head – Consultancy & Projects at the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), Mumbai, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. With over 35 years of experience in packaging, he holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry, an MBA in Operations Research and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications.

His expertise spans packaging research, package design, consultancy, testing, training, education and sustainable packaging technologies. He has led consultancy projects across diverse industries and conducted numerous industry and government training programmes. He is also associated with several Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) technical committees covering packaging, plastics, printing inks, metal containers, paper products, pallets and sustainability.
