Janaki Krishnamoorthy
Ms. Janaki Krishnamoorthy is a multi-faceted and successful women entrepreneur. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and Carnatic musician. She is a graduate in Commerce and Post-graduate in Management from some of India’s top colleges. She was India’s National Tennis Champion who has represented India. She started playing tennis at the age of 8 and won her first tournament at the age of 9. She represented Maharashtra at the National level from sub junior level onwards for over 15 years. She helped Maharashtra win multiple Inter-state tennis titles from 1987 to 2001. Ms. Janaki consistently won National titles and was National Champion of India in U14, U-16, U-18 and Ladies level. She was ranked No. 1 in the country between 1993 and 1995 and was in the top 4 throughout the entire decade. Ms. Janaki was also ranked within the top 10 junior (U-18) tennis players in Asia. She has represented India at the international level at sub juniors, juniors and at multiple International Tennis Federation and other events. She also represented India at Federation Cup between 1993 and 1997 and qualified for Olympic qualifying event at Osaka, Japan in 1996. In 1997, Ms. Janaki Krishnamoorthy started SEC Communications and pioneered the introduction of video-conferencing solutions in India. SEC Communications has risen from strength to strength and is today a leading AV and Networking Systems Integrator. SEC Communications provides technology leading, high quality solutions in Video Conferencing, Unified Collaboration, IP Surveillance, AV Integration, Networking, Datacentre Infrastructure, Network Security and IT Facility Management Solutions. SECCOM today has a pan-India presence with offices across the country, highly competent technical engineers and marque clients across Government, Defence and Private enterprises. SECCOM is also ranked top 15 among women entrepreneurs on Government E-Marketplace portal. They do extensive work with Army, para-military forces on backbone and communication infrastructure. Ms. Janaki also finds time to take care of 2 wonderful children, husband, parents and parents in-law besides her spiritual pursuits and social causes.
