Leslie Lean is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ansata, a company he founded in 1989.
Beginning his career with Escorts Ltd. for five years, and later spending nine years at DCM Infoctech, he built a strong foundation as an  IT professional. Motivated by his passion for technology, he ventured into entrepreneurship by starting ANSATA as an IT products company. In 2001, recognizing the growing opportunities in professional sound, he strategically pivoted the company into audio solutions, a move that transformed the Indian audio landscape. He understood that proper value addition to hardware and a design-focused approach in audio are factors that deeply resonated with him. His prediction of a shift from analog to digital in audio ensured that he pursued to work with brands with the same focus.

Under his leadership, Ansata has evolved into one of the most respected distributors of professional audio solutions in the Indian subcontinent. Ansata is recognised as the leader in OTT, Post-Production and broadcasting.
The company proudly represents globally renowned brands such as d&b audiotechnik, Avid, Waves, RME, DPA Microphones, Audinate, Trinnov, and Spottune, offering cutting-edge solutions for touring sound and installed sound.
